Summary

Guaroa virus is sensitive to ether and deoxycholate, its replication in cell culture is not inhibited by 5-iodo-2′-deoxyuridine, and it is both pH and heat labile. The virus produces cytopathology in certain cell cultures of human and bovine origin and has a rapid growth rate in bovine lymph-node cell cultures.
