Tinea Imbricata Treated with Griseofulvin

View More View Less

Nine of twenty-five Indonesian patients with tinea imbricata were free of their infections for at least three months following therapy with griseofulvin. Those receiving 2 grams daily were more often cured than were patients on a lower dosage schedule. New lesions appeared on some patients while they were receiving griseofulvin. These lesions could not be controlled by an increased dosage of the drug.
