Current Therapy is published annually, for its purpose is to make available to the busy physician a compendium of treatment to be used as a reference source. Its value to the practitioner of medicine is generally recognized, but because of its size and cost it is not purchased annually by a majority of its users. (In general, the present edition appears to reach the high standard of previous ones.)
This book uses the multiple contributor type of approach with all of its inherent defects. Many chapters are excellent, and others are satisfactory. Intestinal Parasitism is a concise and thorough presentation with a reliable basis for treatment.
