Summary

  1. 1.Immunization of a horse with a mixture of Trimeresurus flavoviridis and Agkistrodon blomhoffii venoms resulted in the production of a highly satisfactory, potent polyvalent antivenin.
  2. 2.The antivenin titers against both venoms were high and exceeded minimal acceptable potency standards.
  3. 3.Seventy days were required for hypervenomization and the total dosage injected was 161.1 mgs. for each of the venoms employed.
