This is a memoir intended, according to the author, for those who in the future may seek to know how it was in Tropical Public Health during “The Weller Years.” Despite having only one author the booklet has the characteristics of a festschrift being a tribute to a deserving scholar, written by an associate and reflecting the memories of many students and coworkers.

The material is tightly written and the story is told in some 35 pages, the remainder of the space being devoted to appendices that deal with who was there and when and what was accomplished, terminating with 32 pages of publication citations.

The booklet does not require a detailed review for members of the Society but I suspect that it contains something new or forgotten for every reader.
