To the Editor:
In my paper entitled “Evaluation of chemotherapy in the control of Schistosoma monsoni in Marquis Valley, Saint Lucia. II. Biological results” (Am. J. Trop. Med. Hyg., 31, No. 1, 111-1 IS) I regrettably omitted to acknowledge the work done by Dr. J. D. Christie.
The paper reports work carried out between January 1976 and December 1980. Dr. Christie was responsible for collecting much of the field and sentinel snail data until his departure from St. Lucia in March 1978.
I very much regret the inadvertent omission of acknowledgment for Dr. Christie's contribuintion.
