This is an opus, unlike anything previously seen. The difficulties in collecting clear examples of radiographic abnormalities of tropical diseases have been experienced by the reviewer. Unlike blood films or tissue sections, of which there are many easily made on a single case, or photographs of gross specimens, which are readily copied, there may be only one good radiograph in a case. This is often difficult to secure and to copy without the loss of significant detail. The authors have collected a tremendous number of radiographs most of which are of high quality. The offset process of printing has succeeded in reproducing these illustrations satisfactorily. On the other hand the diagrams are rather fuzzy.

The book is organized on an anatomical basis, the usual one in a book on radiological diagnosis. In general this system works but it leads to separating some conditions which are closely related both taxonomically and anatomically.
