Summary

In a 67-year-old woman, supposed complete removal of the tick and the local bite area did not prevent the development of a prolonged and progressive tick-bite granuloma. The superficial resemblance on microscopic section of the tick-bite granuloma to malignant lymphoma is emphasized.
