Summary

The effect of antimony dimercaptosuccinate, Astiban®, on the electrocardiogram has been studied. Effects common to antimonial compounds, especially T wave changes, were apparent. The recommended course of Astiban treatment produced more marked electrocardiographic changes than the course of tartar emetic.
