We experienced a fatal case caused by with multifocal necrosis confirmed by culture and polymerase chain reaction. Our case highlights that the clinician should be aware of the potential for fatality when a patient with brucellosis shows dissemination of abscess or nodules with no calcification in the liver, lung, pleura, and spine.
