Abstract

This book is very similar to the original 1967 edition entitled . As in the earlier edition the avowed purpose of this attractive, hardcover, 156-page book is to provide a concise account of medical parasitology that corresponds to the time allotted the field in most medical curricula. Therefore it is quite superficial in many aspects but does provide much of the basic information that medical students are expected to learn during their initial contact with medical parasitology. This book could serve as a useful supplement for those courses in medical microbiology, pathology, or medicine whose texts are deficient in parasitology.
