Abstract

Travelers' diarrhea in Bangkok, Thailand was investigated in a group of 146 hotel guests who had diarrhea during their stay in the city. The identified pathogenic organisms were in 45 (31%), in 1, nonagglutinable in 1, and in 3. Identification of enterotoxigenic was not attempted. The study suggests that is a major cause of travelers' diarrhea in Bangkok.
