Abstract

Two recent cases of myiasis by the African Tumbu fly, , in man in the United States are presented. They bring to four the number of such published cases. Knowledge about this species of parasitic fly is briefly reviewed. Because of rapid air travel, other cases of myiasis are likely to occur among U. S. residents recently returned from Africa.
