Abstract

Adult helminth parasites of the intestinal tract are rarely found in the urogenital system. Previous studies have dealt with ; this report describes a case of post-menopausal bleeding caused by migration of a gravid proglottid of into the uterus. Identification of the etiologic agent was by means of eggs and calcareous corpuscles in curetted tissue. This appears to be the first record of an adult tapeworm in the urogenital system.
