Abstract

Summary

The concentration of or antigens that induced nonspecific reactions was determined. Lesion sizes of specific reactions varied directly with the amount of antibody used for sensitization and the amount of antigen used for challenge. High concentrations of antibody influenced lesion size of adjacent sites, apparently by diffusion of excess antibody into such sites. With the use of the modified PCA procedure, antibody could be demonstrated by the 2nd week in sera from -infected rabbits and guinea pigs.
