Abstract

Summary

Two species of squirrels were inoculated intravenously and intradermally with cultures of . This organism was recovered in cultures of the blood and of the skin at the sites of inoculation up to the tenth day in the case of the grey squirrel, , but only up to 48 hours with the gopher, . Skin cultures from other than the sites of inoculation were negative. No verruga nodules were produced in either rodent.
