Summary and Conclusions

  • 1.  Six patients infected with , three of whom also harbored , were treated with aureomycin and all remained negative for these infections in frequent post-treatment examinations of two to twelve weeks' duration.
  • 2.  In all cases disappeared within four days of initiation of treatment and it is probable that a shorter course of treatment might prove equally effective against this infection.
