Abstract

Summary

Dyar and Shannon is shown to be an efficient vector of yellow fever virus, producing fatal infection, by bite, in laboratory animals.

On the basis of an assumed transmission rate of 1.00 for , the following transmission ratios were obtained: , 1.29; a mixed group of and , 0.73; , 0.45; , 0.31; and , 0.16.
