  • 1.  Two new Arizona localities, Casa Grande and Continental, are reported for the recovery of naturally infected with .
  • 2.  Natural infection of and are recorded for the first time from Arizona.
  • 3.  The first naturally infected mammals determined by xenodiagnosis are reported from Arizona.
  • 4.  Laboratory mammals experimentally infected with Congress, Continental, Casa Grande and Nogales sources of are recorded.
  • 5.  Leishmanial development in experimental mammals is demonstrated for Congress, Continental, Casa Grande and Nogales sources.
  • 6.  Sixty-three, or 7.1 per cent, of 883 from Arizona have been found naturally infected with Chagas.
