Abstract

Summary

A comparative study of the effect of three arsenicals against natural infections of in show that all three are effective in the doses used when administered daily for ten days.

The same drugs in the same dosages were much less effective against in the same animals.

These differences point out the necessity of differentiating between natural infections of and of in monkeys when amebicides are to be evaluated by testing them against natural infections of in monkeys.
