Abstract

Summary

A description has been given of the natural breeding places of ; and of the physiography of northern Alabama. It has been shown that a definite relationship exists between the occurrence of certain types of physiography and these breeding places. The probable effect of impounding of the Tennessee on production of is briefly discussed.
