Dear Sir:
I am responding to the comment by Dardick concerning the title of my article in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.1 The patient did not have colon carcinoma. The title indicated that the patient presented with the clinical manifestations of colon carcinoma, including the features of a lower intestinal radiograph. Without histologic examination, it was impossible to differentiate malignancy from parasite infestation in this case. I think the title "Detection of Enterobius vermicularis eggs in the submucosa of the transverse colon of a man presenting with colon carcinoma" should be acceptable. The title "Detection of Enterobius vermicularis eggs in the submucosa of the transverse colon mimicking colon carcinoma" recommended by Dr. Dardick is also acceptable. I think both titles are appropriate.
