Dear Sir:
I am writing to comment on the misleading choice for the title of the article by Lee and others in the November 2002 issue of the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene1 (Detection of Enterobius vermicularis eggs in the sub-mucosa of the transverse colon of a man presenting with colon carcinoma). The patient described did not in fact have colon carcinoma; he was suspected of having colon carcinoma. A more appropriate title would have been "Detection of Enterobius vermicularis eggs in the submucosa of the transverse colon mimicking colon carcinoma."
