Unusual Anopheles Habitats in the Canal Zone1

While the optimum breeding places of malarial mosquitoes on the Canal Zone are in fresh or slightly brackish water, three instances are cited of heavy breeding in over 50 per cent of sea water. Several other unusual habitats are also recorded.
