Observations on Dientamoeba Fragilis1

1. A case of occurrence of Dientamoeba fragilis in human stools is recorded.
2. Binucleate amoebae were found in only 12.2 per cent and uninucleate forms in 87.8 per cent of 2000 individuals observed at random.
3. Nuclear division is described.
