Hookworm Infection as Influenced by the Wearing of Shoes1

Nelson C. Davis
International Health Board

Received November 21, 1923.
1 The studies and observations on which this paper is based were made by Dr. Davis and Dr. Waldemar Rocha, on the Ilha dos Marinheiros, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and were conducted with the support and under the auspices of the International Health Board of the Rockefeller Foundation.
