Carbon Tetrachloride in the Treatment of Uncinariasis

1. A group of 172 Cantonese farmers working in the Agricultural Department of the Canton Christian College showed infection with Uncinaria of 69 per cent.
2. One treatment with 3 cc. of oil of chenopodium caused a cure in 58 per cent of cases.
3. One treatment with from 3 to 6 cc. of carbon tetrachloride caused a cure in only 36.1 per cent of cases.
