Capillaria Hepatica: Report of Genuine and Spurious Cases1,2,

(1). The second case of actual infection with Capillaria hepatica (producing death) is presented with a review of the literature.
(2). A spurious infestation is also reported, the first for the continental United States and northern hemisphere.
(3). Criteria for diagnosis are given.
