A Simplified Casein Hydrolysate-Serum Medium for the Cultivation of Trichomonas Vaginalis1

A casein hydrolysate-serum medium is described for the cultivation of Trichomonas vaginalis. This simplified medium is more easily manufactured, contains fewer constituents than a previously described formula and adequately supports the growth of trichomonads as shown in over 160 subcultures.
