Amebic Infection of the Vagina and Uterus

Esther M. Morse AND Stuart P. Seaton
Hainan Island, China

From a part of the world where amebic dysentery is common, two cases are reported, and another case mentioned, in which there was inflamation of the vagina and uterus with a bloodly mucus discharge resembling an amebic dysentery stool. E. histolytica in large numbers was found in the discharge. The cases responded readily to treatment.

Received February 9, 1943.
