Outline of Culture Character Studies of an Undescribed Species of Cryptococcus1

1. A species of cryptococcus was isolated from one of a total of 102 cases of lingua nigra studied.
2. Morphologic and biologic character studies of this problematic species were made.
3. A new and distinctive specific name was applied to the unknown species," Cryptococcus quasilinguae pilosae" Cooper, 1928.
