Immunization Information for International Travel

(Public Health Service Publication No. 384.) 77 pages, illustrated (maps). Washington, D. C., Government Printing Office, 1959. $0.30

Henry M. Gelfand

This booklet is a useful, almost necessary, reference for persons intending to travel outside the Country. After a general statement of the policy of the United States and other nations concerning immunization and of inoculation schedules, it presents an authoritative country-by-country list of requirements and recommendations for entry and through passage. It also lists the designated yellow fever vaccination centers in the United States and gives a summary of U. S. Public Health Service regulations governing the importation of pet animals. This latest revision brings all of these statements up to date, and is highly recommended reading.
