A Skin-Test Survey for Histoplasmosis and Coccidioidomycosis in the Middle East1

None of a total of 2,030 Middle Eastern nationals tested was positive to histoplasmin or coccidioidin.


1 Portion of a study on the epidemiology of zoonotic diseases in the Middle East supported by a grant from Pfizer International. The histoplasmin was furnished through the courtesy of Parke, Davis and Company and Eli Lilly and Company; the coccidioidin through the courtesy of Cutter Laboratories.
