The Isolation of St. Louis Virus from a Nestling Bird in Trinidad, British West Indies1

St. Louis encephalitis virus has been recovered from the serum of a nestling bird in Trinidad, B.W.I. This is the first time this agent has been recovered from a local, nonmigratory bird south of the continental limits of the United States.
