From the Editor

The publication of the Journal remains a collaborative effort of the Society's Editorial Board and Council, the Editor, the Senior Associate Editor, Associate Editor, Managing Editor, Copy Editor and staff in Atlanta, as well as, the hundreds of professionals, many of them members of the Society, who took time from their very busy schedules to review manuscripts, providing invaluable assistance to both the editorial office and authors. The following is a list of active reviewers for 1996. Each manuscript published in 1996 was seen by two or more of those listed below. These referees also have seen manuscripts that are still under review or have been rejected. Their considerable geographic diversity is exceeded by the extraordinary breadth in terms of subject matter, expertise and experience that each one brings to their important task. The Editor's office extends a warm thank you to everyone who contributed this year to supporting and strengthening the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
