Becton-Dickinson Fellowship in Tropical Medicine and Tropical Public Health

Applications are invited for a one-year Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Tropical Medicine and Tropical Public Health (up to $28,000) to support studies in the basic science, epidemiologic, or clinical aspects of tropical medicine and tropical public health in endemic countries. Candidates should be members of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (membership application may be submitted with the grant application), and should be willing to present the results of their studies orally at the Annual Meeting of the Society, as well as in a written report to the Society's Council. In addition to a description of the project based on working at an overseas site for at least six month of the year (four pages or less), a budget and budget justifications, each proposal should include: a complete Curriculum Vitae, a letter of support from the mentor at the overseas site, a letter of support from at least one (preferably two or three) previous mentors, and a description of the facilities available at the study site.
