Letters now being received by authors indicating the acceptance of a manuscript are comparable to the one shown below, whereby the author will see the manuscript in the form that will be used by the printer.
"Dear Dr. _____.
"It is a pleasure to advise that the above listed MS has been accepted for publication in the JOURNAL. The enclosure to this letter was made from the disk prepared from your submission; this same disk will be used by Allen Press to produce the final printed pages. The extraneous letter symbols (usually including brackets or semicolons) are directions for the printer and will not appear in the final product.
"Included are the headers, table of contents listing, author index listings, and estimated subvention charges. This is followed by the manuscript with headers, title, affiliations, text (less tables and figures), verified references, acknowledgments, mailing addresses, and figure legends. Most editorial changes have been made.
