Editor's Page

In the January issue of this volume the Editor's Page entry made mention of a plan to utilize the first two pages of each issue for brief reviews and comments on timely subjects or to highlight "significant and newsworthy scientific observations allied to tropical medicine." The following brief report, selected by several members of the Editorial Board, consititutes the first such publication of original work.
