These two volumes add an analysis of 4,713 recent titles to the 7,763 titles published up to 1967, which were analyzed in an earlier edition. Listed alphabetically by author are papers on Toxoplasma, Besnoitia, Encephalitozoon, Frenkelia, Hammondia, Lankesterella, Sarcocystis, and selected other parasites. These are analyzed under subject headings, aided also by a detailed, alphabetic, subject heading index. The papers are referred to by a running number, year of publication, language, and two or three key words. Of statistical interest, titles reviewed are 38% in English, 20% in Russian,* 11% in French, 10% in German, 6% in Spanish or Portuguese, 5% in Italian, 2% each in Japanese* and Polish,* 3% in Slavic languages,* and 4% in other languages.* Titles in languages marked by an asterisk have been translated into English. This work is essential for experts and those wishing to review facets of toxoplasmosis, and most useful for a review of the literature.
