A worm removed intact from the anterior chamber of the left eye of a 23-year-old woman from Central Java was identified as a male Angiostrongylus cantonensis, 11.1 mm in length and 0.24 mm in maximum width. A useful degree of eye function was preserved. Five similar cases have been reportedthree from Thailand, two from South Vietnam.
