Exoerythrocytic Stages of Plasmodium Vivax in Ateles Monkeys*

Seven and 10-day exoerythrocytic forms of Plasmodium vivax have been experimentally produced in hepatic tissues of Ateles (spider monkeys); patent infections developed in the recipients. These monkeys represent a new test system.
