A Case of Intra-Abdominal Sparganosis in Chiang Mai, Thailand

A sparganum was found free in the abdominal cavity of a 23-year-old Thai female during surgery, apparently the first such case to be reported. This is the twelfth case of sparganosis in Thailand and the first from Chiang Mai.
