Department of Tropical Medicine and Parasitology, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana 70112, and Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts

A nematode larva, 31 mm long, was recovered from an aneurysm of the right common iliac artery surgically removed from a man in Massachusetts. Its finding appeared to be incidental as there was no evidence of any lesion produced by the larva. It was identified as a 3rd-stage larva of Phocanema or Terranova, a type not previously reported from man.

Accepted for publication April 15, 1972.
