Hadrurus arizonensis venom was analyzed for cholinesterase activity. Analyses for nonspecific cholinesterase activity showed that 1.0 mg of venom hydrolyzed 2.24 µmoles of acetylcholine per hour, whereas analyses for specific cholinesterase activity showed that 1.0 mg of venom hydrolyzed 1.38 µequiv of acetylcholine per hour.
