A few errors of consequence occurred in the text and in the Appendix table in my article on schistosomiasis (Cheever, Allen W., 1968. A quantitative post-mortem study of schistosomiasis mansoni in man. This Journal, 17: 38–64).

Please publish the following details to correct these errors.

Page 46, second column: The second paragraph should read, "The ratio of eggs per gram of feces per worm pair in liquid, mushy, and formed stools was 1.0:1.9:2.6."

Appendix table, second column: The number of eggs in the rectosigmoid colon is given in eggs per gram of tissue per worm pair rather than in thousands of eggs per organ per worm pair. Thus this figure is not used directly in the calculation of the total number of eggs per worm pair in the tissues.

Appendix table: In autopsy 155–64 (schistosomal colitis), the intestinal submucosa was not examined for worms.
