Free Amino-Acid Production In Vitro by Plasmodium Berghei

Intraerythrocytic Plasmodium berghei produces large amounts of free amino acid when incubated in vitro. The qualitative and quantitative composition of these free amino acids appears largely to reflect a proteolysis of hemoglobin.
