The editor has seen a need for an easily accessible source of well documented reviews on various aspects of parasitology. It is his stated objective to make readily available comprehensive reviews of some of the many varied avenues of parasitological research.
Volume I includes review articles covering the following topics: 1) Experimental Research on Avian Malaria by Clay G. Huff, 2) Coccidia and Coccidiosis in the Domestic Fowl and Turkey by C. Horton-Smith and P. Long, 3) The Infective Stage of Nematode Parasites and its Significance in Parasitism by W. P. Rogers and R. I. Sommerville, 4) Parasitic Bronchitis by D. Poynter, 5) Experimental Trichiniasis by John Larsh, Jr., 6) Larvae and Larval Development of Monogeneans by J. Llewellyn. Each contributor is an outstanding worker in the field that he reviews. Therefore the literature cited for each article is comprehensive.
