A previously undescribed agent has been isolated from Trichoprosopon mosquitoes captured in the Arena Forest in central Trinidad. The name Triniti virus is proposed for this agent. Neutralizing antibody to the virus has been demonstrated in human serum. Some of the physical and biological properties of the virus are described.
