Dirofilariasis in Man: Report of a Case from the State of Washington*

A case is reported in which an adolescent female Dirofilaria was found in a pectoral muscle of a 63-year-old woman. This is the first autochthonous filarial infection to be reported from the State of Washington, the twelfth from the United States.
