A Case of Apparent Photosensitization Due to Pyrvinium Pamoate*

Marcus M. Reidenberg{dagger}
U. S. Naval Station, Navy 117, F.P.O., N.Y., N.Y.

A case of very severe sunburn in an 18-month-old child after exposure for 30 minutes at a swimming pool in the tropics following a single dose of pyrvinium pamoate is reported. It is suggested that patients be advised to avoid sunning themselves for a few days after receiving the drug.
